True, as a fuse is a fuse, as long as they are the same blow rating. Roland finally figured it out on later models and used sockets. Unfortunately, the pad spacing won't allow a retro fit to sockets on the SP-300. Your idea is the best for these older models with soldered fuses.

Another option is to solder the correct new fuse on top of the old one without removing it. Removing and replacing the old fuse is difficult to access without accidently touching the hot iron to surrounding components, especially the connectors.

SP300V only runs under the 5.x.x series.

Your link is just an info page. You should be able to get profiles by going to your Versaworks tab in your start menu and clicking on the Online Update. It will take you to a window where you should be able to access a button to download profiles.

Did you clean and lube the head carriage guide rail? If so and you're still getting random errors, then it's a simple swap repair. Then run scan and cutter aging in service mode. Probably one of the easiest repairs you can do on this printer.

Does it do this in any other files? Are these labels step and repeated as multiple copies in Versaworks, or was it done in the design program? If in the design program, look into your created file for something hidden in that area, maybe some kind of mask.
