I am waiting for one to come in... I had some help with the site community in decision. No down time to cut after printing, no dust from cut vinyl. Only wish they made 64" rolls instead of 60" then I can install seamlessly one sheet on pick up trucks.

I have the exact same issue. I have a sp540v and did a 40'trailer. Funny thing is that it looks like the one side of a panel prints fine and the other side is slightly darker. Makes me think that its a encoder strip that going bad or a sensor. Cant wait for the new Re640 to come in.

Which would you prefer? If i buy the RE-640 I would buy a cutter with it.

Hi Folks, thinking about purchasing our second printer, We currently have a SP540 that is 6 years old. I am wondering what you guys think of the SP540i any pros or cons. How is the print quality, speed, cut contour accuracy etc.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Mike

I used to use corel now i switched to illustrator. The only thing i dont like about illustrator is withe the strokes around anything i have to break it all apart and weld it so i can cut the outline. Is there a better way to do it so the stroke has a full background?

Yes overlaps are all good Checked them in corel and they are perfect. Its like something is getting shifted on export. I dont know. Even when i layout a sign and line it up one print is shorter when it shouldnt be. Its weird. Printed on a sp540

Hello. I am doing 12 8'x12' signs on alupanel. I split the design into 3 sections. Designed in corel then exported eps to versaworks. I have noticed that some prints are up to 1/2" short. Sizes are correct in corel and versaworks but the print itself is short. Does anyone know why this is...

You where told that you got the job? Did you take too long? Did you not follow through or follow up keeping your customer in the loop or kept them posted on the next level. I have some big jobs, some take longer than normal to do but I keep the customer posted on how the project is coming...

Hey Guys is there a tool I can buy that back splits the backing paper for decals. I am printing a bunch of decals and they want the backing split for easier application. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Mike
