Like a Spacex booster touchdown the trajectory of this thread could be calculated & tracked to its fiery end.

See what you did? Now, this is stuck in my head on infinite repeat. The Wrapman theme song:

That yellow utility belt, is it a Dewalt?
  4. Applying Window Cling To 18oz Banner

I think I watched this same video. I will have to rewatch it as I missed the microwave part.
  5. Heat Gun Hip/Belt Holster

No hate from me. There's more than one way to skin a cat. But in the end, I don't think the cat really cares.
  6. Heat Gun Hip/Belt Holster

Just to be clear we are still talking about a hip holster and not a:

Could be a glitch with Google Translate - he is from the country of Nor Cal.
  8. Applying Window Cling To 18oz Banner

For only 6 20x30 prints I'd run a clean clear strip of banner tape across the top and bottom and call it a day

If you read my full post I am not really dismissing this tool as something that could be useful. If you have ever worn something strapped to your leg or hanging off a tool belt like a cordless drill, sidearm, baton, broad sword, machete etc.. they tend to get hung up and if they are at 200+...
  11. Idea for a new thread......................................................................

It's kinda like when you hit puberty - you get a tingling-burning sensation below the belt. And then you just know.
  12. Heat Gun Hip/Belt Holster

It does look useful in an imminent 2nd or 3rd degree burns way. But with a loose torch or scalding heater gun, we are already in that zone. I have a feeling I would spin around to catch a falling panel and drag that cherry red exhaust pipe right through the one I had just finished. For less...
  13. Idea for a new thread......................................................................

Pumped gas for my Dad at a time when cars had the filler behind rear license plate and pumps did not have the anti-spill shut-off. My height was perfect to catch the powerwash of overfilling gasoline right below the belt-line every time. Took more than once to remember to step off to one side.
  14. Need Help Police car graphics

If they are still running Crown Vics their budget must be pretty tight - I think those went out of production in 2011 or 12. There are a bunch of them here all sitting in the Police boneyard on blocks.
  15. Idea for a new thread......................................................................

Used to work with my Dad in the paint and body shop. Would cut masks out of manila folders that he would hold up to the panels and ghost in rows of scallops before laying down the clear coat. I remember a few times he would lay down lace from the fabric store to use as a mask. Really subtle...

Just go gangster and stuff it into the front of your pants. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." What I did see that seemed really useful on a Youtube wrap channel was a rectangular plywood combo step, seat & tool holder with holes in all sides that you could drop the barrel of the hot...

Does hand cutting vinyl count? I was a Trim Line Shop doing vinyl graphics & signs before plotters came out.

Ever since The Professor died we have lost much of our science and tech. Gilligan is just not up to speed.
  20. To print or not to print

I don't sort my clients by body type but I agree with Tex. We did some Isuzu box trucks with cut 7725 vinyl - all the white paint wore off box part of the truck - the only thing left on the side was the vinyl lettering (it did not look good but was still there). We did them 8-10 years ago.
