Some of the brush aluminum ACM finishes like the one pictured are not outdoor rated.
We've had some white ACM panels start discoloring to a brownish tinge after 5 years or so.
If you get painted letters from Gemini, they paint over their natural brushed letters so you will see the brushed texture in the paint finish. Whether they are taped or stud mounted will depend on how big they are.
We've used band saw blades cut apart to lay flat to "saw" behind the letters.
FYI, I installed an update to Rasterlink 7 yesterday, and you can get gloss clear now to print simultaneously with the color; you don't have to retract and print the clear as a separate step.
We usually drop the wires down thru the parapet wall "void" into the area below the roof to make up the connections and mount power supplies. It can be tricky when there's a support beam in the way. Like Texas_Signmaker mentioned, hold the penetrations to the bottom of the letters if that can...
We had a roll of Oracal 3164 that wouldn't print right, but the problems started right off. I don't remember checking the date on the roll. Wonder if it was old stock from the vendor.

Sign shops around here are always hiring so we check the ads to see what the other shops are offering as a point of reference for the wages of our current employees. If we let our wages fall to far behind we could risk losing people to the other shops.
I like to email my rep. I find it cuts down on the number of annoying phone calls from them asking if I have any projects I need to order for if I'm bugging them for other things.
