  1. Alternative to 3M IJ35C?

Switched to Briteline Duration X as well, then switched to Avery 2903 and love it. So much I've switched my usual 3M IJ180V3 over to Avery 1105 EZ.
  2. Need Help How many profiles do you really need?

Absolutely you should have a different profile for every media. Go cut a square piece of every media you print on, and lay them out on a table and compare the shades of white. ALL colors are based on printing on white, so guess what? A more yellowish white material will give a different color...
  3. Military velcro, olive or drab green?

Seriously...open Google. Type olive green velcro.
  4. banner over an oven? hot question!

Sure it can be hot around ovens. It's also hot as balls outside, and I don't see any banners melting or bursting in to flames. But go with what you feel I say.
  5. banner over an oven? hot question!

In my experience, all the heat from an oven is inside the oven. This is a non-issue.
  6. How to efficiently cut 4'x8' Coroplast sheets into signs??

I assume you meant this for me. I said less than an hour. Could it take 20 minutes? Sure. I could probably knock out 30-40 sheets in an hour if I rushed. Was simply stating in an hour's time you could do quite a bit, like 100 signs which might be a typical order.
  7. Looking for Cutter and Laminator

I don't understand. Are you asking if we have any for sale or for recommendations? Best bet is go demo several at equipment dealers.
  8. How to efficiently cut 4'x8' Coroplast sheets into signs??

This is what we do and is the quickest. Can knock out 10 sheets (100 signs) in less than an hour (aside from printing time)
  9. Roland SP300v recent purchase, can it run on Windows 10?

I keep seeing Run as Admin being recommended....don't you mean you should adjust the settings to run in Compatibility Mode for whichever back version you want?
  10. painting the edge of ACM?

I assume you mean on 6mm ACM....pointless on 3mm, you won't see the edges 10 feet away.
  11. Do you know where to get vector art like this?

No one designs anymore? Create something original.
  12. Color fluctuation - L 560

This has nothing to do with reds....? How are you relating getting a good red to my problem of reprinting the same file and getting a color shift in a blue?
  13. Color fluctuation - L 560

I keep up with color calibrations, that's not it. I don't know what was going on. Came in this morning, ran this print again first thing. Printed perfectly, matches the first ones. Nothing changed as far as material, profile, inks, anything, during any of these prints. SAME ripped file sitting...
  14. Color fluctuation - L 560

Same lam. Nothing changed but the time of day. Just ran another and it's off.
  15. Need Help Anyone know where to get the material to make this curb sign..looks cool!!!

I've found this material to be less than stellar in real life. Printing on it is near impossible on our Latex machines. Not advised.
  16. Color fluctuation - L 560

Here we go again...inconsistent colors again. Bottom print printed this morning. Top one just a while ago. SAME profile. SAME roll of material. SAME FILE. The blues are more different in person than this photo even depicts. WTF??
  17. Trying to copy this font from a 30 year old t-shirt

99.9% percent that would have been hand drawn. Based on a couple of old typestyles maybe, but I'll eat my hat if there's an actual TTF or OTF anywhere out there.
  18. Buying A Used 360 Hp Latex - Any Advice?

Hmm....I get fantastic reds with ours, better than I ever did with any older solvent or eco-solvenet machines I've run. It's all in the profiles.....
  19. Buying A Used 360 Hp Latex - Any Advice?

This is not correct thinking. If you are a busy shop, having separate machines DOES make perfect sense. You can be cutting a job while the printer is running. You still have to remove the prints to laminate before cutting so the idea of print-then-cut (for most stuff) on one machine with no...
