So I've been doing a lot of larger vinyl graphics lately. I'm using RTape Paper Application Tape (Not the conform series). It's a 24" log that's a pain to handle. I don't have a table that I can attach a homemade thing to yet to hold it.. but I plan on building one soon. Either way...

I noticed that today.. As I laid it down on the piece it lifts the piece off the table. I've learned to tape the edges down for one-offs, but for large quantities I just develop a technique to line it up.

What supplier would that be? If you can say.

I've not read up on the NEC in a few years, but I could have swore all disconnects and panels needed to have a certain amount of working space in front of them..

Looks great, but I'd keep it slid over when the inspector comes... def against electrical code as that doesn't provide working space in front of the panel with it closed.

Has anyone use the Clear Conform in 6", 8" or 10" sizes that have been cut down? It seems that when I order these custom sizes (SignsWarehouse this time)... whatever they use to slice the rolls up creates a gelly sticky mess on the sides of the roll and as the roll unravels these little...

Thanks for those very good replies! @Gino, I won't be doing barely any application / installing, these are all packaged RTA decals, as 90% of our business is shipped out to customers rather than local retail.

Not sure how relevant this would be... but if they have someone who's going to be printing "things" for them now, do you think their workload (more than three indoor banners) would increase?

Sign Boy is getting me around 10, which should be good for 5 sizes of app tape.. I'll most likely build me another vinyl holder when it cools down some (95-99 degree weather isn't fun in a wood shop). I'll post then to see if you guys could save some up :) Really appreciate it!

I've always seen them for sale at Sam's Club... I think that you're required to order them over the internet; the stores never have them in stock from what I've experienced.

Here's mine haha... the cutter is an old bandsaw blade.. doesn't cut too good on some of the plasticy app-tape.... so I just pull it out under the blade and use the blade as a straightedge with a razor.

A few times when I've ordered from H&H Sign Supply, I've gotten black plugs on the end of my vinyl / app tape rolls. I'm building an app tape holder (swivels around with different sizes) and I'm needing some more of these... I've tried calling H&H but no answer as of today, does anyone else...
