    Same here. I just created a Corel file, just a simple 2" square, with NO fill, and it is 388kb, so the OP's files look very small.

    Try using Winzip or WinRAR to open this file. Corel files are actually compressed files containing all the information from that particular file. Just right click on the file and select "open with" and then choose your favorite compression software. Screen shot attached of a simple shape saved...
