We had a similar issue last year when our air conditioning went down. Shop got REALLY hot and printer stopped working saying "temperature too high". Once room was back to normal temp, printer worked fine again.

During the work week ours are always down because we use the laminator ALMOST every day. If we don't use it for a day, no big deal, never had an issue. I do raise them over the week-end, just in case. :) Having said that, I was on vacation for 3 weeks this summer, and the rollers were left down...

I haven't tried yet, just wanted to put it out there see if it is do-able. I printed metallic ink on Siser white heat transfer today, just waiting to see how that turns out. What printer/material/profile do you use? Thanks, Mark
