Is there anyone out there that has a Roland SP 300 that could take a close up picture of the carriage cable and plastic guides. I replaced mine with a new cable and guides and I want to make sure mine are installed right before I test the machine. Usually I take a picture before I start a repair...
What clear product is recommended for a protection overlay for Fire Engine lettering using 3M comply black with FDC Engine Turned as the second layer ?
I've seen it on the trucks but don't know if it is just a clear laminate used for digital prints.
Anyone experience Flexi 8.6 not saving larger files ? It starts to save and about 35% of the files goes good then error message that it won't save.....?????
Thanks for the reply.....never had the request to laminate over two layers of material before, which means doing a 1/8" laminate outline around the lettering. Do you know if its the same laminate used for wraps or is there a certain brand of laminate that should be used due to the adhesive being...
I have a question on the process used for lettering....I've seen the gold leaf vinyl, not SignGold place over black 3M comply with a laminate over it with about a 1/8" outline for protection. Can anyone share the process for this and what is needed ?

Flexi Win 7
I just upgraded also to Win 7...I still have Flexi on my XP system, so I have not completely gone to the Win 7 machine, however, I have found that the support people form SAintl.biz have been very helpful. I switched back to a hardkey vs. the softkey for Flexi so I can go from one...
I've got a SP300 and I bring mine up to 185 for laminated things and set it at 145 for just plain vinyl. Seems to work fine....the blade depth, just like a plotter/cutter makes a huge difference.
Thanks Arturas....I'll give that a try....maybe that might be the main issue of not turning off the main supply first, then turning it on. i'll try it later this evening.....
Thanks...I tried hitting all of the arrows based on each line (2&3) then held the three arrows down at the same time as powering up, but no luck...still same message...Service mode Protected
Tried the suggestions below and the message Service Mode is protected still comes up......there has to be another step in it.
Any more suggestions is appreciated......
