  1. Mark Scan Error

nevermind. Looks like I didn't have enough blank space on the lead edge. I had to cheat it with a new origin point.
  2. Mark Scan Error

Okay, I have an FC7000-160 here, I've cut plenty of prints using reg marks and the ARMS on the graphtec. For some reason, I am going to cut some stickers out for my little cousins Christmas present, and the plotter reads Mark 1... then Mark 2... then it looks like it reads Mark three and gives...

  4. Sponge question 1604

So it says to replace the sponge after 2 months, but if this is after a week... just seems odd. The sponge I just replaced was totally black, and for some reason it was out of it's holder and sitting on a piece of metal, oozing everywhere. I just don't want that to happen again.
  5. Sponge question 1604

Well I don't know what they are called, but the one on the right side of the printer under the display screen is the one that is saturated. These photos were taken about 4-5 days after both sponges were replaced. I have only run 2 small jobs on this machine since replacement.
  6. Sponge question 1604

Yeah but the one gets a lot more saturated than the other... maybe because of the auto cleanings too?
  7. Sponge question 1604

Got a Valuejet 1604... still getting used to it. Question, how fast does the average sponge last? I just changed both of them the other day and the one close to the docking station is already saturated. Is that normal? I can post a pic if necessary.

Anyone know where to get a vector file of this? It's a coat of arms for potter county pa, and the commissioners office uses it for their logo I guess. I got a couple to look at here... thanks!
  13. X3 export preference

So are you guys saying the same thing pretty much? I am relieved to see that I can print at 100 dpi and have it look good... I guess 1/4 scale at 300 dpi will turn out about the same once you blow it up on the rip? I am just used to designing large things at full scale, I used to design casino...
  14. X3 export preference

Well every mural (there are 3 total) you can walk right up and touch it. There is one at the entrance @ 54 sq ft one on an interior wall @ 158 sq ft and one at the exit @ 234 sq ft... ...yes they have a separate entrance and exit for some reason, good for me! I am designing these at full...
  15. X3 export preference

I'm going to be printing a huge wall mural soon (if they buy it) and I have a mix of vectors and rasters in it... even some vectors converted to Bitmaps with effects on them. In the past I have just exported as a tiff at 300 dpi, cmyk... then pulled it up on my rip and started printing. This...

  19. Die cut - cut through?

Hey peeps, I'm a long time Graphtec user, I've been using a FC7000-160 for 3 or 4 years... but believe it or not I am JUST NOW having the opportunity to use the ARMS feature since I bought my valuejet. So my question: when diecutting a print or cutting out a slew of stickers, can I turn...
