Hey guys, just trying to find some vinyl thats is a little larger the 60 inches, I will use it to mount on 5x10 boards, mostly foamcore. I will be printing this on either a Latex printer (LX610) or a Mimaki using Triangle inks. I'd like to hear what you guys have to recommend. regrads.

I spoke with a merchant yesterday about this, and what he told me was that HP made this latex printer is to compete with the DurstRho 500R Family of printers, and that it was priced accordingly at about 350K, but thats Canadian money.

Double Striking is an in-rip function, wen creating a profile you select the number of layers to print. In Onyx it this ranges from 1 to 9.

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply. No, not yet, but I have inquired about it and it runs about 5 grand for the conversion. Still, the printer is for sale at half what I see on the net now. What I'm told is the the owner wants the wider LX850 instead.

I can get a good deal on a lightly used LX610. I know one of the cons of this machine is the fact that you need to web the machine every time you run a job. Can any users tel me the other Pros and Cons of this equipment ?

Hey guy's, just had a serious media crash and now the cyan is out of register ... Is their a simple procedure to get the cyan back in line ? I have magnifiers and even a 100x microscope. Thanks for the help ! P.S. its for a Mimaki JV3-250sp

I have the same problem on Onyx, cant get the 1440 on my JV3-250SP with the Ultra driver. Sorry I cant help.

Sepiax is expensive ink compared to Triangle and requires lots of heat. I think the new Mimaki "Latex" uses a similar ink. Just FYI.

Any one here knows how much the top of the line CET 500H sells for with all the bells and whistles ? Any one knows of a dealer in Canada ?

maybe, that you profile and calibrate your machine to the media your using ? on a side note what rip you use is important here, so we can realy help
