Hey guy's, I'm on the market for a new printer and narrowed down the choice to 2 printers. I need a printer with an output at around 300 square foot an hour. My first one is the Mimaki JV5, I own a JV3 and think this can be a good choice. Seen lots of mixed feed back on it like prints not...

I mean the keyboard were you can navigate the menu, make feed adjustments, alignments, the one with the LCD display and the 12 buttons on the front of the Mimaki. I have one key that just wont work anymore.

Hey guy's, I spiled solvent on my keyboard and now the down arrow wont work propwrly ....:banghead: Can any one recommend a reseller for a replacement or any one have a used one from a decommissioned machine wanting to sell ? thanks for the help.

Next to the rails on the right, theirs a little switch that can get gunked up.

I bought GBC Titan 1264WF and its hand down the best piece of equipment I bought in years ! They have crown rolls on this machine ( thicker in the middle to evacuate air on the sides ) that makes it nearly impossible to screw up. Great for beginners.

Don't use the Sericol WUA inks, they really suck. The BP inks were really great though, unfortunately unavailable any more.

yes but on 54" its not much, and thats when I see it the most. How do you suggest I fix this ? buy new feed holders ?

I did check that, their like a 2 or 3 millimeter off ...

Thanks for the info my friend, I did check the alignment on the feed unit, I measured from the floor and from the machine all is good their ... I'm running out of ideas here ... the media keeps swaying left to right ... :( thanks for the help

I get the same result (media swaying side to side) on both the light and heavy roll holders. I once more tried cleaning my pinch rollers and the problem is still present. I did find how to put more tension on the strap that holds the tension bar, it did not solve my problem :( Thanks for the help.

I got a little problem with my tension bar on my 250, the strap that holds it are loose on one side and tight on the other, to my deduction, this causes uneven tension on the material that makes it sway from left to right (since my pinch rollers are clean), and it cause banding in the print...

I got a JV3 and the cache is small.
