  3. Ooooo... that's a neat idea..........................

:ROFLMAO: Dammit Pat --- You need to surrender your man card immediately. No woman is allowed to know how the The Men's Gift Club operates. They can know it exists, but that's it! Like the Masonic Lodge, they can NOT know the secrets of the ritual or to what degree the husband is involved...
  4. Any pranksters here among us?

The most evil prank, I heard of was performed my a friend of mine in Arizona. It was a random target prank --- and that's even more evil. He described a lonely stretch of road, "as a gently rising curve that dipped as it straightened out." Having driven on those types of roads in Arizona, I...
  5. Any pranksters here among us?

I went to college in Iowa where there's a road of some sort every square mile. My home town was 84 miles away, so it was a common trip to go back and forth. I had explored, various routes and ended up with some combination of county black-tops, gravel roads, and highway for the trip. Miles-wise...
  6. T-Shirt Art - WIP

LOL... well?... The guy spent more on the truck than the logo. So I'm kinda favoring that as the most important part of the design. I guess the layout is kinda working the way I'm designing it. LOL. I'm trying to make it an eye bouncer. But, that's kinda where I'm stuck. I'm trying to dance...
  7. Any pranksters here among us?

My mother-in-law is a sturdy, midwestern, family matriarch. Nothing makes her happier than clucking around like a old farm hen making sure everything ...and, everyone is right with the world. [color=gray]She's a bit of an annoying Saint.[/i] ...and, she takes great pride in her cooking of...
  8. T-Shirt Art - WIP

Hi all - I've been working with this layout and figure it's time to let it stew for a bit. I've got to fix a few things and add a boom to the back of the truck illustration. ...maybe tomorrow. It's an Illustrator file built with 4 PMS spec colors, Black and White for screen printing color...
  9. Christmas Tree finally up

THANK YOU! :notworthy: :omg: I thought I was having a seizure when I first plugged them in.
  10. Christmas Tree finally up

We finished the photoshoot for the Christmas card last night... the tree is kinda in the background. These are from the batch of 82 shots that we're not going to use. The tree is an 8' silver tip with LED lights --- Does anyone else have get "wubbly" eyes from the LED lights?
  11. 'Simulated process' screen printing

It sounds like the printer has developed a workflow that is consistent for them. ...Their special recipe of perfection, so to speak. orrrrrrrrrrr :ROFLMAO: Don't let that confuse you. If the printer is reading the same Fresner book you are --- and they think Scott is the messiah of screen...
  12. Christmas card rant....early this year.

I'm working on my greeting now... I am now thinking of making it a post card to save on printing and postage for "those on the list" from last year...:banghead: .:omg:
  13. San Bruno

That was crazy... I live about 15 miles away as the crow flies. I had started to make dinner about the time the fire started. I looked out the window to see what kind of sunset was on for the evening ...and saw the spewing fire ball from my house. To find out what was going on, I flipped...
  14. took the cat to the vet!!!

:ROFLMAO: A Visa?.. set it up for the rewards program! Pets are an awesome way to generate points! Our dogs have one of those in my name. I think next year we'll be able to have enough points for a trip to Italy. .
  15. WOW! Let's see if I still fit into this outfit!

    Welcome home :thumb:
  16. Coro-Plane Wednesday update.

I'm thinking he's the smart one. Can you imagine the how many times the poor guy on the ground will have to wind the rubber band on the propeller just to get it off the ground...
  17. If it's Tuesday, then this must really be Wednesday...

:ROFLMAO: or Sopwith Coro. But what I'm really wondering, is once air gets moving past the some of the exposed ends of the coro, will it sound like a "flute?" .
  18. I'm still kick'n!

WOW!.. you're puttin' some miles under your butt! My eyes are getting blurry trying to figure out your route around the states. Have fun! Drive safe! Stay on the right side of the road...
  19. Customer Complaint -"Sign Flickers"

I s'pose they're fine. Ain't no one seen sparks comin' outta those, yet. din't think it was necessary to check 'em out. :help: That's what prompted the service call... Someone saw sparks. :banghead: Duuuuuuuuuuuude... what are ya thinkin'? Ya gotta wait 'til after the holidays and buy...
  20. Customer Complaint -"Sign Flickers"

One of our installers went out to service a "flickering" sign. Upon arrival, he wasn't sure what to do. So, he took a couple of pictures and came back to the show us the problem. Admittedly, I don't know much about the electrical aspect of sign making. BUUUUTTTTT, it's glaringly obvious to me...
