  1. New caps worse than old

Thanks Mike! I got it going yesterday, I'm nervous to go back to the shop today now! Hopefully it's not all dried up again.
  2. New caps worse than old

Decided to go through and replace all the caps, dampers, wipers, scraper, sponges, etc in my Roland. The old caps still sealed just fine, they were just getting old. The new caps went in without a hitch, i ran some cleaning fluid through them to prime them for the flood of ink to come, and...
  3. Kudos to AZ Pro Signs!

Big props to Chris and the crew at AZ Pro Signs. The banner design i sent over and you guys whipped up for me looked awesome! The print quality is excellent, colors popped! Excellent stitching and grommet work. My client is very happy! Thanks! -Ryan Velox Graphics :U Rock:
  4. Looking to rip the design apart

I'm surprised! I agree with Gino as well... I've turned down jobs where the client was demanding something that looked stupid. Didn't want my name associated with something awful looking. Sorry "CheapVehicleWrap" :)
  5. Looking to rip the design apart

Like he said, the flames and direction of the flames is part of their logo, and im pretty sure it wont fly if he tries to re-do them. I think it looks good given the space and restrictions with the logo. I take it the owner does not want the wrap to extend up onto the topper? I think that'd...

  9. Roland Sc-540/545 Contour-Cut out of wack with crop marks? Use this advice...

Sorry to bring this back from the grave... but does anyone have any more info on adjusting the cropmark voltage? I have the service manual... i followed it to the "T" Max voltage is now dead on at 2.5 (it was at 3.7!) BUT, now instead of that fixing my contour cut offset when using cropmarks...
  10. Roland Warranty?????

Unfortunately, this seems to be the way roland is going. The more i deal with them directly, and the more i read on here, it seems as if once the sale is made, they just don't give a crud about their customers anymore. I'm on my 3rd roland printer. When this one dies, i'll take my money...
  11. No PM's In Months Now

Must be Tit for Tat... i sent him a PM and have not received a reply!
  12. Sign Brackets

Just thinking out loud here, but the springs will have to be pretty weak to prevent coro from being damaged when hit with a forklift. Also, i understand it's what the customer is asking for, but really? a $50+ bracket to protect a cheap coro stop sign? :)
  13. No PM's In Months Now

    PM SENT! :rock-n-roll:
  14. Coro-Plane Wednesday update.

    what?! no coro engine?!
  15. need to run HP system recovery on used hp computer, but can't log in as administrator

download chntpw and burn the image to a cd. Reboot the machine and boot to the CD. It will load up a trimmed down version of linux, and will walk you through resetting the admin password. Takes about 10 min if you've never done it before... 3 min if you have :)
  16. Roland sp300 printing fault with Vertical lines

Just looking at the photo of your test print... it's siphoned black ink into the blue nozzles closest to you as you stand in front of the printer. It makes 2 passes to do the test print, so it repeats like that in the middle of the overall test. I had the same thing happen a few times...
  17. Roland sp300 printing fault with Vertical lines

The black in the blue is likely due to a bad damper on the blue line. It's siphoning black ink back into the blue side of the head. The blue/black head on the SP machines are a PITA imo... since it looks like it's only on one end of the head i'd venture to guess that you arent getting a good...
  18. Broken Bordeaux Ink

airmail? ground? quick pressure changes coming over mountains, etc? All i can think of.
