we UV print to chalkboard all the time. A local MFG has us do all of their graphics.

styrene is a good choice up to .125. But its never a good choice outside due to yellowing. I've found that styrene is great for indoor signage and is very cost effective ( cheaper than PVC ) until you hit that 3mm / .125 barrier and then PVC costs less.

20,000 square feet on the hill behind my house. I'd sell the UV printer and have 2 CNC routers and my Roland. Everything we did would be 3D signage and we'd turn almost everything else down.

we run very little metallic on our XR640 . After pumping through 2 cartridges of silver with only 2 paying jobs, we swapped the silver for a cleaning cartridge. I'm not pumping any more 220 dollar silver ink into the drain bottle. The white seems to last way longer.

we have not had issues using the brushed outdoors. not sure about the mirror.

there are companies out there that make a polished ACM already. Do some research. VHB should do the trick if you have to go that route.
