Not totally true... I still have printheads WAAAY out of warranty and WAAAY past what I would normally run them and the printer has never suggested once to change a head.
One thing to think about...if you have an issue with Flexi, or Corel, or AI, or anything, and you seek help....what is the first question that tech will ask? "Which OS are you running?" And they will probably suggest you need to be running on Win 10 and won't try to troubleshoot too much if...
At this point, computers are so cheap, they should be factored in to the cost of doing business, and probably should be replaced every 5 years or so to handle updated OS, as well as stay current with other software compatibility. We have one remaining design PC with Win 7 on it. It runs fine...
Yes the EPS file you create. And you can delete afterwards, sure. Once you save the color in the mapping process it never looks for that file, it only produces that color based on what you set it to output.

I'm the same way Fred. Schools seem to make you conform to righthandedness....I am righthanded, in life, but bat, hockey stick, and golf lefty, even started playing drums lefty, but ended up playing righthanded because lefty was "wrong". Even shooting guns I am left eye dominant.
That may be why they didn't come tapped for studs. 1/4" is too thin. They should have told you they can't do it. It CAN be done, but very carefully and it really isn't recommended.
Back that clear vinyl with white vinyl afterwards if it doesn't get backlit. Will look tons better. You need that white in there for the colors to be right.
Large paneled print, like a wall wrap. I'm afraid that's the only option if you can't attach one single fastener. Use cheap removable vinyl. Yeah, they'll have to redo it every time they bring a new trailer. More repeat business!
