  1. 2020 Ford Super Duty on tailgate

Do you mean cutting inset letters to fit inside? I would just order them online. Too much hassle getting the sizing right. Someone else already did the hard part.
  2. Sign company or wana be TV stars?

Yes they are notorious for being the "electrical sign Nazi's". If you even showed a picture of an electrical sign on your website and you weren't a licensed electrician, they would blast you for it. They were a-holes for some time about it.
  3. Best vinyl for temporary museum wall wraps.

I'm getting it less than $250. What exactly is better about yours? If it's better and 50' longer, I'd be willing to try it. PM me some info and I'll try to remember to set up an account and order a roll.
  4. Sign company or wana be TV stars?

    Ugh....Signs Manufacturing?
  5. Anyone know which manufacturer uses this logo? $20 bucks to the first person

I need an eye exam. First look I thought this was someone's fresh tattoo on their arm, covered with saran wrap.:omg:
  6. Can’t get solid colors

Also need to know how many passes? I zoomed in on a photo and it looks like you printed on canvas...pretty strange pattern. I'm gonna suggest another vinyl? Looks like maybe that's a bad roll.
  7. Best vinyl for temporary museum wall wraps.

I've seen a sample of that. It is practically the same as GF 226 (probably THE same sold in a Mactac box) :-)
  8. Best vinyl for temporary museum wall wraps.

I'm printing a wall wrap right now. I use mostly General Formulations 226. Have had great luck with it so far. Is a little stiffer so installing, even with one person, is pretty easy. No stretching and the finish is fairly matte.
  9. Best vinyl for temporary museum wall wraps.

40c would be fine. 35c would work too. Key is to be able to test the paint before deciding what to use. And laminate isn't necessary for a wall wrap...it makes it thicker and more prone to lifting at the top. Especially don't need to laminate for a short term job like this.
  10. Anyone else disturbed..

Ah hell I thought you meant McCarthy taking over as Dallas Head Coach.
  11. What density window perf? 30/70 40/60 50/50?

50/50 for vehicles, 70/30 for storefronts. We laminate (when needed) with either Clear Focus or Briteline optically clear.
  12. van lettering should i go with the molding line or use a level?

NEVER use a level on a vehicle unless you are 1000% certain you are installing the graphics on the vehicle on a 1000% level surface. We fight with this all the time, especially with the way new vans are made. We have a customer with over 100 fleet vehicles, most are Dodge Promaster City vans...
  13. Question Vinyl type question

NO. This is NOT good for wrapping. Why give bad information on here??
  14. Need Help Brain Fart.........................

    AKA Carpet Frogs around here...
  15. Good Wall film

Our main go to is General Formulations 226 Wallmark. It does not do well with severely textured walls though....well really nothing does, lol... We have used 3M IJ39 for tricky walls that many vinyls won't stick to well. It's a high tack vinyl.
  16. Making a bedazzled prop?

Since it's foamcore, for added effect punch some small holes in it and string some christmas lights up behind it.
  17. Interesting dilemma

It's not that hard to explain. If this comes up, I tell them we spent money and lots of time calibrating our monitors and printers for colors to be as accurate as possible. If you specify a PMS color, we will hit it 99% of the time. We can not match to what your out-of-the-box laptop screen...
  18. Making a standing banner for our shop, thoughts?

On the right track....now lose the background, change the typefaces, and convince SOMEONE that the peach in the logo has to go. Sometimes a letter in a name lends itself to another shape (like a peach), but the letter C in no way works as a peach.
  19. Making a standing banner for our shop, thoughts?

What is the point of the banner? I would create something that at least lists or features (photos and/or text) what products you make. This is an absolute waste of time and banner.
  20. Need Help Have never done this before..............................

Why would you reverse the white to stick on blue styrene? Cut it normal and stick to the face.
