This is the system we just installed a few months ago Works great. It has Hot swap and RAID so we just run a Mirrored RAID. then I'll just do a hot swap with a third drive and keep that weeks backup till the following week.

Ok here is my Take on the plotter.. The reason I bought the 54 instead of the 64 is look at all your materials you can buy.. All your vinyls you can get are 54" and a few 60"s The only thing wider is Banner Material and you would never Plotter a banner. About the only thing you would use 60"...

We do it both ways as Marlene and KAS said except I just use Biscuts and West Systems. Your joint will be stronger then the material itself.
