Try signproof pro, I have heard good things. An easier way though, 50% deposit on your work. Never had a customer take off with a proof, and if they do, oh well, it usually winds up paying me more than the $65 an hour art charge.

Does it continue to print after the cleaning cycle has finished? I think that I may know what is up, but I will have to wait till tomorrow until I can get to work and let you know if I am on to something.

I could do that, but I just thought that if somebody knew off hand what font it was, it would be easier.

Try more powerful head cleanings and see if it gets any better. The nozzles are clogged. If that doesn't work there are several more steps you can take, but the powerful cleanings should take care of it.

Take a look at the Goudy family. Some are pretty close.

485C is one of the hardest colors to hit. Banding can often be solved by adjusting media feed, not allowing the printer to take directly off of the roll, and profile tweaking. One other was is to print in uni-directional mode. A bit slower, but often solves banding problems in hard to hit colors.

I have tried this approach, turned out to be more work that to see if was a simple font. Wound up waiting forever, then talking to somebody else and passed around to a few other people. Try again tomorrow, but I just wanted to get these out because both me and them are in a hurry.
