I'll look into a retrofit. Unless I'm missing something there is no way to reach the center bulbs without taking the top off which is riveted. There are access doors on each end but they are only about 18" x 24".
I was thinking what you were, 2 guys all day to replace the existing faces with...
Thank you. That makes feel more comfortable with this. Maybe it's late and I should be sleeping but would I be crazy to suggest installing polycarbonate faces by screwing them to the angle and then making trim pieces to go around the edge and cover the screws? I would have to paint the trim...
I'm not removing anything till I know I've got the job. The faces are attached to the angle that makes up the structure. There is no removing this face without a lot of work. I was able to measure that there is 4.5" of material beyond what I measure from the face.
Do you have an example of such a retrofit system? I'm not opposed to trying to sell something like that. The only good thing about this system is that there are no retainers. The reason the customer wants new faces is to add more info to the sign. Any retainer is going to make the area we have...
I've been asked to quote my first flex face. I've never done one before but want to learn how. I've attached pictures of the current sign. Customer is asking us to replace both faces. It looks to me like I have to take the aluminum panels of the sides, top and bottom to be able to get access to...
I have a customer asking me to quote aluminum plates like the attached proof. The proof states that these are etched and safety orange. Any idea how that would be done? I'm thinking they are really screenprinting these but maybe there is a process I'm not aware of.
Customer loved what I showed them so while I appreciate it you don't have to do this for my sake. I like text tutorials with pictures best. I find videos either go too fast or too slow.
Can anyone give me advice or tips on how to create the attached image? Customer gave me this as a sample. They want a similar background with different text. I've tried in Photoshop and Illustrator and nothing seems quite right. I'm not worried about the raised areas in the corners, just getting...
I've got the job and my margins are fine. I'm not going to install on site for free. We are not a large operation so its a pain for me to be out of the office long enough to do this plus I have to travel about 45 minutes each way.
I do like the thought of having the paint cure for several...
I quoted a job August to do about a half wrap on a 48' tractor trailer, lettering and striping on a 15' box trailer and some other small misc decals. About the beginning of Sept we get word that we will be getting the job. They informed me that both trailers would be painted before we would...
We are a 2 man operation and hired our first graphic designer this summer. In getting to know her I realized she really had no fine art ability. Myself, I got into graphic design because of my fine art ability. I had to let her go after about a month because she had no creativity and not even a...
Does anyone recognize the attached nameplate holder? Customer is looking for more but doesn't know where they came from. They have no markings. They are all plastic and the nameplate section just snaps into the frame. Lettering is just cut vinyl.
I'm a fan of a full size pickup if I can only buy one vehicle. I can cover stuff up in my truck if it needs protection. I can't cut open a van if it's not big enough for what I need. Really I use my F150 for most jobs but use my Explorer when I need more protection.
Can anyone tell me where this pole and base might have come with? Customer is looking for more but does not know where this came from. There are no markings on it. The pole is plastic and extends at each joint. The base is all metal.
