You usually when the lamps shut off on the gandi I just replace the filters and it solves the problem. but this time it dosnt. I swapped out K6.1 and K6.2 in the honle box to see if Lamp 2 would show an error but it didnt. Said Lamp 1 again. So I think it might be a sensor in Lamp 1 in the...
I like how they give you the specs in centimeters. anyway 120cm x 250cm is 4'x8' table. Production mode is 130 sqr/ft Hour. approx. which would be 15min. print time on full 4'x8'. Probably dosn't have pins on the table which would be a minus. This might work for a small sign shop that does a 1...
Got a new problem fellas. When the machine is off. The ink drops through the heads over night. But while its running its just fine. Any ideas what would cause this. Thanks!
Yeah I had same problem today actually. I let the ink run down too low in the reservoir and that allowed air to come in through the filter which made the ink drip from the heads. Moral of the story is keep your reservoirs filled up.
You know we've made several profiles for sintra, Ultraboard, and styrene. Which gives us good color Using onyx. We mainly print long runs of the same artwork. So what we do is print one and keep it as a sample. Now a month later we'll come back to that same job plug in the same information...
Ok that snapkill worked great. and The 600x1200 does work at 1200 head speed. but its pretty slow not sure I could make any money at that speed. but Im happy thanks for all who helped!
I make a profile designed for whatever dpi I want to use in the rip software.
but I was told I have to change the dpi in the gui then turn the machine off and back on for it to accept the dpi change. but I like the snap kill idea I'll give it a shot.
In Onyx 10.1 I created a Quick Set. In the Quick Set settings. There is a button for Bit Depth. You can use 8 or 16 or smart 16. does anyone know what this actually does?
I also have a question on this printer. I thought I would write a profile at 600x1200 the maximum setting on this machine. I switched to 600x1200 turned the machine off and turned it back on set it all up. and my color chart looks doubled and smeared. any Ideas what I did or didnt do?
Thank you
