Have you tested the head fuses on the mainboard ? These are small surface mounted ones, and are the ones that control the heads. It is possible transistors can be damaged without blowing the fuses, but is unusual for it to happen.

Keep the cable as short as possible. You can damage the mainboard physically by plugging the cable in and out but it could be a coincidence it started happening after you changed the network setup and the board just started failing at that time.

You will need to get the specific ones for your printer as lots of them won't fit, so make sure they are the right ones. Everything on Roland printers can be fixed, it just depends how many parts and how much it costs!

Win10 is abysmal ! I installed it for a while, then went back to Win7 as it made everything worse than before!

Replacing tubing in pumps is pretty easy, but you need to make sure you get the correct stuff that won't melt from solvent inks. They could also just be blocked and need flushing out

Try printing it with the lights off in the room, or with the printer shielded from daylight. It could be light is reflecting off the vinyl and confusing the sensors. If your other vinyl is printing fine, it is obviously something to do with that finish, and too bright lights can stop the encoder...
