  1. Import/Export .DWG

I don't know if I'm chiming in too late on this subject or not...but...I've found that when dealing with dwg files, the easiest way is to go into AutoCAD, window select what you need, copy by way of ctrl+c, back into illy, and then ctrl+v to paste the vectors. I'm not that familiar with Corel...
  2. IL State Seal Logo

I just looked at the pdf and most of the inside of the seal is in vector format on the following page, page 6. ...edited to say all of the inside of the seal is vector on page 6 on the state flag.

  8. Can find the ncar fonts

This is an excellent example of why thread titles should be exactly what you are after. If I search for "NASCAR Fonts" by thread title only, this thread would not show up in my results.

You could just title a thread "John Deaton is Fantastic!" and not write a single line of text after that, and still get 53 responses saying how kick-ass he is. He did a caricature of a radio dj for me some months ago...awesome.
  11. Glide

I absolutely agree with EVERYTHING Pro says here. I have the same 17" Dell, and the thing that I like best about it is that I can spend more time upstairs in my house with the family instead of forever in the basement thanks to the built-in wireless capability. I'm on this machine as we speak.
  12. Font Recognition

That looks like modified Bank Gothic to me...like the bevels have been rounded maybe.
  13. First time I asked this, WHAT is this font

Doug, I don't think you're even close with that one. :Big Laugh
  14. Checkered Flag Graphics Needed

I'm pretty sure that exact, unaltered graphic can be found on Fred's clipart site here...
  15. Font Identification Assistance

Sure. I don't get to help out around here very often. I actually used that font for my old screen printing business.

  17. Where can I find a car...

I second that motion. John Deaton is AWESOME.
  18. Sometimes "outline" sucks...

There needs to be a hard and fast methodology to how these files are created and saved. I read on here one time that somebody alway uses the pre-cursor, "CUTFILE_filenameblahblah.ai" to distinguish it from the others. I've since used that and it does save time. There's those few things that...
