I don't believe Onyx has that option, TruFit will nest but I don't think it will add bleed for doing contour cutting, that's why Im thinking of moving to Caldera.

the main reason is, tru nesting & adding bleed to cut files on irregular shaped artworks.

Has anyone moved from Onyx to Caldera RIP, if so did you have any problems, HP 365 printer, Summa S2 roll to roll, & flatbed cutter, is what im using.

ok thanks, been looking for 1 for a lot of time, but ended up buying Veloblade 2516 flatbed, I already use summa cutters so it would be good to get a summa flatbed, what do you mostly cut on it

V carve can't support it as its a Digital cutter with 4 heads, conveyor belt driven. the software we have doesn't do it either so been using 3rd party and saving as DXF files and re importing

im on google workplace so set up spf, DKIM and dmarc (as strict), it works

just buy a cheap laminator, put a table in front & behind it to catch the materials, trying to build an app table will be hard work to get everything square & getting the pressure even, laminators already have this built in, ideally you want one that also does reverse

Hi does any one know how edit a cut file from onyx i.e. the XML file it creates for a cutter when you tell it print?
