I personally would not use that only because of the final cure time. Insane fastest cure is at 120 degrees for 7 days! OMG!
I would get a sample of the Clear Shield Production clear and do some testing as Gino pointed out earlier also the Frog Juice Artbot mentioned.
I just logged in to my accounts with PPG, Dupont and BASF and only PPG has a waterbased automotive clear. Not sure what paint manufacture you called but these three you can cross of your list.
I am not positive but I do not think a 2 part waterbased air dry clear even exist yet. The PPG clear is a 3 part and cannot be air dried. You could look at BASF and Dupont (or whatever the name is now since Dupont sold the auto paint side) oh and Valspar like Debeer or even Akzo Nobel <- high...
The only waterbased clear coat from PPG has to be forced dried at 140 for 40min and cannot be air dried. But maybe some of you have a heated booth. Also I have a Envirobase system but have never used the waterbased clearcoat.
Ah I was just thinking trace it as redraw it with the pen tool. I have tried the trace function in Illy and have had no luck either I just redraw it. And what I don't want to do goes to the Vector Doctor.
I am in no way trying to get you to lower your pricing you need to eat to. I just wanted to point out what some others might be getting for the same job. If you were going to do a good install you would do as stated above and take apart the tailgate and remove emblems, trim, and handle. clean...
look at it another way if you got $500 for just the tailgate an entire wrap job from you would be like 5k not very realistic but hey if you can get $500 I would go for it. maybe take a little Google search and see what tailgate wraps are going for. As that will more than likely be your...
I would never spend 4k on a 40" cutter. Look around you can get a decent used 54" for under 2.5k. My next cutter will be a Summa, I currently have a 54" Graphtec no issues yet.
Ya the specialty graphics place doesn't carry the cheetah print though. The customer did say they would be fine with leopard print but I'm not ok with it because I know it's not correct. But it seems many don't know the difference anyway.
Yes I could if I had a solvent printer. Maybe I could have someone print me a few yards.
I would need to get the right pattern though.
Is there any such thing as a latex compatible heat transfer vinyl? Well off to the Google.......... found Enduratex Print and EASYPRINT SIR 1712 anyone use any...
Ok, So I had a Youth Basketball team ask if I can do some T-shirts for a Tournament coming up. I said ok, Then they asked for Cheetah print for the Capital "C" for their Name Cheetahs of course. But now I can't seem to locate any cheetah print heat transfer. I did find all kinds of Zebra...
That would create a lot of static and possible contaminates from the airline. It could be done if filtered properly. Also you could use a filtered blower motor that has a long straight narrow opening for cleaning the substrate before entering the laminator. Just like the ones big companies use...
