Depending on your background you can get parts from multiple online sellers. But if you need to, You can get everything from HP yet. And some vendors can help like, Grimco, and Big Systems to name a couple.
This is called Lifting or crazing in the paint world. it is caused from to much film build and not enough flash time between coats , poor prep (contaminates on the surface below the paint) or chemical incompatibility (could even be caused from not mixing the primer or paint correctly), the only...
I think your idea of the dowels with some sort of Spiderwire type fishing line would work best, Sadly your arms are going to fall off. What is the wall? Drywall, Fiberboard, Tile?
If it is just drywall I would use the GPLR (Gino's Portable Letter Remover) to remove everything off the wall...
Looks like a jv33 prints at 12 square meters an hour. The 330 is at 14 and 360 comes in at 17. So I guess it depends on how much printing you need to do in a day to see if you need the small speed increase. And I believe the bugs have been worked out of the latex machines for a while now, We...
Is there any way to adjust the cutter on the L25500 printer?
It recently started not cutting all the way through the 3M IJ180C-V3. It cuts the backing paper but not all of the vinyl. a quick tug and it comes loose. 55-110 for drying and cure temps. was thinking it was the heat causing I to...
I use a BS everyday. Either applying transfer tape or vinyl graphics. And I also use the BS laminating version on my 30" wide printed vinyl, never tried it on 54" material.
I like to use Main Tape Preview Plus GFX-101 but I have a handful of others on hand. Like rTape 4075 and some Transfer Rite is not clear (smells funny) but works ok.
As a Fire Fighter. I have not seen or heard of any type of vinyl capable of withstanding heat or fire for one hour. I can tell you not much of anything will last an hour. But if you had a realistic temp range it would make it easier to help you determine a material closer to what you need.
You can still buy the driver for $300.00 but the name escapes me at this moment. Do a google search for older plotter drivers it should come up. If I have to when I get back home I can look it up. As I have a Gerber FastTrack 650, that I don't use anymore that I tested the driver on and it did work.
I got a roll of 1005EZ a few weeks ago. I told the sales guy I was a little bit scared to try a roll based of past issues all the people on Signs 101 have been having. He assured me that it would be fine and would refund my money if it didn't work out. It printed fine for the first 10' on a 3M...
All of this subscription based software has priced it self way out of my price range.
All the bells and whistles on this one gets close to 1k per month( for the first year anyway).
I have had that same issue with my 25500 everything was setup and selected but no cut. I usually just restart the printer -complete power down. Another issue I have had is the substrate will not unload. And I have had to power down to fix also. Not sure of the root cause of either issue. I did...
