Vuteks and CETs sound good from you guys have been telling me. All I can do is make notes for the money guys to make a decision. What models of Vutek and CET are comparable to the Gandi 3150x2?
I've asked this before but tell me again if you don't mind.
printing about 400sqft/hr production mode.
It says they are coming out with a 6'x10' table model as well don't know when don't know how much. probably 3/4 of a million lol
also this printer has an automatic head height adjuster. Not sure thats good thing.
Someone brought in a table matte and a couple posters and contour cut acrylic piece all of them were embossed and backed up with foil laminated that gave them a metallic finish really sharp looking.
That sound interesting. dont think i'd could use it though.
This a printer I was looking at. http://www.atech.co.uk/sysimages/RolandLEJ640_UK_FULL_web_ds142_1.pdf
too much for me. I got some printed samples in yesterday. Looks really nice. but I know it was probably ran in the highest mode and slowest mode. They never give you the stuff you need to know. crazy salesmen. I like the Ipad idea though. And I'd have to see that blot system clean the heads...

What do you think this printer will cost?
Gandy Digital introduced the Pred8tor, a UV flatbed with a roll-to-roll option. The 5-color (CMYK+W) printer offers resolution up to 1200 dpi (apparent) and a top speed of 1920 sq ft/hr in Production mode (400...

Good call on the temperature. I'll be taking notes and comparing the differences and see what I can come up with. I usually run a jet out but not everyday. sounds like I need to do that. Also Have you ever noticed magenta spraying into the yellow on a color chart? I have to print a couple...
One more question. This might should go in the color rip forum. But I'll ask it here anyway. It always seems that when I go to a repeat job it prints a slightly different color. Usually a stronger magenta is present than when I first did the job. Same settings and its always just a little...
Trying to setup a 400x800dpi profile and it keeps printing
duplicates of the calibration chart. Any ideas on what causes that? And will it do the same for 600x1200 dpi. I normally run in 300x600 and don't have these kinds of problems.
Thx
