  1. Just In New Coloured Screws For Signage

At least it's not a flathead tek screw. If you're having issues with heads stripping, you should be using a drill driver with all self drilling and self tappers, not those stupid little impact drivers. They are ok for removing old screws but for putting new ones in sheetmetal use a drill...
  2. So, I did this the other day...

Steering wheel? you only need a seat and a gas pedal. Round and round in a circle, weld the steering box and push the gas.
  3. So, I did this the other day...

Stacey, you should drive it over to that lady's sign shop and tell her you want it wrapped. In lieu of payment, you will put her logo on the bottom of the fender.
  4. So, I did this the other day...

And the race car goes when the wife and baby come
  5. Is it true that if you are laminating that it has to match the brand of the digital media?

Good luck with a warranty. We can't even get 3M to do anything on their moldy rolls of 8518 and can only imagine the response you'd get on material after it was installed.

  9. Two Color Touching Bleed Set up

Doing an offset alters things like text, it might or may not be noticeable but it is still shrinking everything. What if you have a 1" stripe, it's not 1" anymore unless you make a proper bleed. You also have other situations like offset printing that usually have a pretty fat bleed where an...
  10. Two Color Touching Bleed Set up

I also drop the bleed under the art. Unless it's something or someone that is real particular, I just leave the overlap. Never liked doing an inside offset, it seems like a dirty way to make a bleed IMO.
  11. Competitive Pricing

I dunno, if Gino's numbers are correct that's $26.25/sq ft. That's a pretty easy number to beat and not everyone minds working out in the heat. Do what Johnny said and you can also hose it down to cool it off before you start.
  12. Looking for paint recommendations for ACM / ACP

I'd start fresh. You could sand and spray the rustoleum again over itself but use an activator (tractor supply used to sell it) or do the other side. I've sprayed over it with a hotter paint and clears many times without a problem but have also had it wrinkle. There's a ton of different...
  13. Looking for paint recommendations for ACM / ACP

Spray a better 2 part single stage acrylic polyurethane and skip that crappy rattle can clear. It's arts and crafts garbage
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is outside the boundaries of journalistic professionalism...

  16. $1000 van wrap

Guy was probably blowing smoke up your skirt so you don't get mad that he used someone else. Or He could have been slow, had sample material, wanted the practice, had a new hire that he needed to train, could be many reasons.
  17. $1000 van wrap

You need to get out more. The Spanish immigrants don't work any cheaper than anyone else. Around here with no skill they get around 15/hr, with any sort of skill 20-40/hr. They're very reliable and usually don't carry around the bullshit baggage.
  18. Looking to buy screen printing eq. Dealer recommendations?

For used I'd keep a look out on ebay, I've seen some decent older setups on there with everything, semi auto press, dryer and big exposure table at really good prices.
