I'd go with aluminum or bond some aluminum angle supports on the inside bends of the lexan. If you want a nice looking finished edge, use trimlok on the edges

You could probably avoid a lot of this type of thing if you steer customers away from any horizontal graphics. Do something on the sides and back but leave the rest. It has little value and only lowers the lifespan of the product as a whole.
