  1. Business evaluation

I've always had the mindset that the assets in a complete business sale are only worth what they are able to produce in terms of net profit. If it isn't producing enough to service the debt you take on when you buy it then it is generally not viable unless it has been grossly mismanaged. The...
  2. Business evaluation

Not true at all. The value of the goodwill of a business is dependent on the net it is producing, not the profit margins. Margins may make one more appealing than another but the fundamental value is the same.
  3. Vehicle wrap training options/recommendations.

It's not an enjoyable or an easy thing to do for pretty much anyone and not something to take lightly. I stew over these things way longer than I should unless it's something totally egregious. It took me well over a year to get to the point that I had enough with my lead guy, at the time, to...
  4. Vehicle wrap training options/recommendations.

I recommend that you get rid of your highest paid "experienced" guy who thinks he deserves a $10/hr raise before doing anything else. If he has 5+ years under his belt he should be good enough to not only bang these things out but also help to get the others up to speed. Find 1 guy that has...
  5. Customer wanting to use trademarked logo on their signage

If they are an actual franchised GMC dealer they would likely have the right to use the logo in ads, signs etc. It will be fine. If nothing else, they will get the slap for violating their franchise agreement if there is some clause in there saying they have to order signage from a specific place.
  6. 35' RV Full Wrap Install Time

Clean house, you can't change people. Start with the worst one and go from there, sometimes that's enough of a shock to motivate the others to do their job. As far as it being a good workplace to them, of course it is. They can fuck off all day, slow boat the jobs, screw stuff up and get paid...
  7. Best Windows PC 2023

We recently got a Corsair, so far so good.
  8. 5' 10' Flatbed Hot Laminator

I would never spend that kind of money on a laminator. Mine have discs kind of like the material on a brake pad. Smells like asbestos but I will need to sniff some more of the dust to confirm that.
  9. 5' 10' Flatbed Hot Laminator

For sure. How much is that fancy roll laminator? How does the tension setup work, I mean the inner workings. The Chinese laminator that I have now has a terrible setup and we have to flip the discs around because they stop maintaining proper tension. It works fine but if I ever got another...
  10. 5' 10' Flatbed Hot Laminator

I was saying the machine itself. It says it has some air lock which I assume holds the rolls real tight. Bet you could get that thing to run pretty consistent without too much tinkering and cursing. I like the swing out holders too, I know there are other similar ones out there.
  11. 5' 10' Flatbed Hot Laminator

This actually looks like a nice laminator. https://www.mefu.cn/roll-laminator/pro-series/mf1700-f3.html I'd buy the cheaper of the 2, that name badge on the machine doesn't make it any better.
  12. Sharpie on laminate

  13. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

Like the douchey meathead who gets angry because he thinks everyone's eyeballing his fat girlfriend?
  14. Question about Corel Draw X7

    yes, works fine
  15. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

I agree with the possibility of your first sentence. I can't buy into it being a worldwide conspiracy. As for my own conspiracy (which I don't adamantly stand behind) is that China did this as a test to see how countries, namely the USA, would respond to a pandemic and also to test their own...
  16. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

Agreed. Except I would say with Covid, they could only go off of current information that they had at the time which of course changes as more becomes known. Additionally, they learned how to better treat it as well so in hindsight things could have been done differently. The alternative is...
  17. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

Just make it up as you go. What about hermaphrodites? I learned that in middle school biology. But really, who gives a shit? For all of the freedom BS some of y'all profess to support you sure do like dictating what everyone else does with themselves and how they should live their lives...
  18. Kerry testified before the House Foreign Affairs Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee

It was that smug grin that would have pissed me off. They are supposed to be professionals, that is no way to question anyone and he came across as very disrespectful. It's not like he was interrogating some cracked out guy that just murdered someone.
  19. How do I know the size of semi truck door ?

It probably annoys the crackheads. https://www.facebook.com/CDScrapMetal/videos/why-2-dollar-bills/269242713699652/
