I've never heard of GoProduce... aside from adding a zillion nodes, what's the differences between that and GoSign Pro? I see you have several jobs open in there - in GoSign I can only have one job at a time open.
Interesting, I've NEVER had this problem... I just looked and we have v2.2
... and because I have read this thread, the next time there is a lower case "i" in my artwork it will probably not cut.
Power of suggestion + murphy's law + gremlin
Why any shape, if you are truly making an outline for the cutpath. Not sure we are getting the whole story. It shouldn't even be "text" when it gets to GoSign, it should just be a shape. I've never heard of GoSign discriminating against a simple shape.
Saying GoSign is a weak program is a fair statement. I could say worse, but we have to use it for somethings, like just cut vinyl, and print/cut from our flatbed printer, generated through asanti. Others wise I use Onyx cutserver for the roll to roll print/cut jobs.
At home I have VinylMaster...
Whenever I have strange cutting results, I make sure the cutpath is a completely vector outline. Not just outlining the text - which you should always do, but in Illustrator, go to the path menu and select "outline" to make sure all of the cutlines are outlined.
We didn't used to ever hem the 18oz banner. But there was one customer (IDK how they were hanging it or where) but it was getting trashed, so just the other day for the first time we hemmed their 18oz banner.
When we first got our Epson, we just had onyx postershop, and if I recall it did have cut server. We didn't have the summa yet, but we had a roland cutter, that I could print on the epson and use cut server to cut on the roland.
