we went two years with little to now issues and then all hell broke loose. our dealer covered everything and after a long drawn out process and a lot of down time they have everything converted to the T2 ink, software and firmware and it's been about 6 weeks give or take and things are running...
not sure this is the correct way to post this so i apologize in advance , first time doing this but...

we use the nazdar inks also with good results but only their solvent inks. do not use their UV inks. we had some issues with them but nazdar is a good company and they came out and did all the neccessary repairs to get the uv machine back up and running and refunded us for the uv inks
we get our stakes and coro from N. Glantz . they went to the Chinese stakes for a while and same thing happened so they switch back the USA stakes and i have to make sure when i order i specify which stakes i want .(they have a few boxes left over they are trying to get rid of so need to make...
thanks. had a courier deliver it to NYC today haven't heard anything so i guess either they didn't open it yet or they successfully got it on the shelf..haha
well got this finished. 1/2" thick lettering, 1/4" backer and 1" base. routed a channel and glued it then added triangle supports to help stabilize it (i hope)
long term and it's a display in a showroom so not sure it can be fastened but i may have to tell them that needs to be done for safety purposes (also so it doesn't break)
we have a guy who can bend or form acrylic for us. that was also in the options but figured i would get some feedback on what you folks thought was the better way to go.
thanks
no it's 1/2" lettering and i didn't specify the backer or base because i wasn't sure what i was going to use. the drawing is just the concept to show them what we were creating
so maybe i should route the base at slight angle to help prevent tipping
so i have these 1/2" cut out and painted acrlyic letters/logo i have to mount to a clear flat acrylic panel and add a base. i am figuring like 1/4" for the backer and 1/2" for the but not sure if that will be strong enough to hold. anyone think it needs to be thicker? also i was thinking of just...
looks like the dust/dirt is winning the fight. to me looks like foreign objects are getting on the material in the print area, not sure how but that's what it looks like.
do you have another printer you can test the material on? maybe there is dust or lint in the printer that is getting on the...
just curious what everyone else does?
laying cut vinyl on trailer and i cut the vinyl that overlaps the panels. i have found in the past from the movement of the panels the vinyl will lift and get dirt underneath causing the letters to fail.
when i cut them you do get a little shrinkage but a...
unfortunately i think a lot of it depends on the cop and if he/she has a bug up his/her ass.
in NJ the lettering (dot, gvw, name) supposed to be a min of 3" i had a customer get pulled over in NY and the cop had a ruler and was measuring the truck lettering when they are stopped at the traffic...
