We recently starting importing a substrate trimmer from Italy. We think it is pretty slick and priced pretty competitive to Keencut. Check it out here... Cuttari
Is anybody else using the CET K2 1000 "Everest" flatbed with the Kyocera heads? If so, do you have adhesion issues? If you don't think that you do, have you tried wiping a recent print with any liquid cleaners? Even water will remove it to some degree. They're looking for a fix and said...

100 double-sided signs (printed at the highest quality) takes 1 person about 3 hours in our shop. That is on a new 5'x10' $300k high end flatbed (our 3rd flatbed upgrade). We can print twelve 18"x24" signs on each 4'x9' sheet. It takes about 7 minutes per side (for the full sheet) on high...
For $35, you could get one of these and screw a board on both sides....

Look at http://www.signsdirect.com/Home/Gas-Post-Driver/ where you'll see the gas powered rhino drivers. We sell both, but gas is taking over for pneumatic. It has a little Honda weed eater motor, but packs the same wallop as the pneumatic model. The pneumatic ones are becoming less popular...
Our Edge FX sounds like it is about to print and then it quits. It hums and pulls about half an inch of vinyl and then stops. It does the same thing if I hit "test print" on the unit or if I send it a print job from the computer.
Could it be a bad power supply going to the head? Something...
This is the "snap on" of gas powered u-channel post drivers. It is made by Rhino in the USA... well, maybe not the Honda motor, but the driver section for sure. Nice warrantee also...

There are also companies that sell chalk board signs with stencils for "dingbat graphics"... like star-bursts and such.
Minicade
We sell the minicade and narrowcade here and offer reseller pricing.
One other option to consider is magnetic signs. At one time we sold a magnicade. It was a minicade with a galvanized steel sign blank screwed to the surface. Then regular magnetic sheeting could be used to for...
Also. we've got reseller prices on most outdoor sidewalk sign stands at SignsDirect...

CET Ink line filters that are $50 each OEM.. are only $2 each from SignChina. Well. they look identical anyhow. Has anyone been brave enough to try them? How'd it go?

It also depends on what your market is. If you're doing a lot of real estate signs, then maybe make riders like "open house" and "price reduced". If your doing a lot for your local schools, then school mascot stickers.

I'd followup by saying that CET does have very good support. Heck, they flew three different techs out to tweak our machine. In the end, it still has the exact same issue as when we started. It has gloss banding. So, if you request a sample from CET before buying, ask them to print an...
