Yes. More on darker colors.
We got the more expensive LED UV option. While LED has its benefits, one benefit is NOT this it has a bunch of options for UV intensity. In fact, there are zero options for UV intensity.

These are foils for an edge or edge 2. I looked on eBay and they seem to be going for about $25 to $45. Some of these are unopened but most are open and have some use. So, I'm thinking $1000 for all 80 ($12.50 each). message me if interested.

Is there acceptable 3rd party ink for the CET that are better than the CET inks? I guess any ink that works with the Ricoh Gen5 heads would be acceptable ...but likely not supported. For the UV system we went with the LED upgrade. I still think the LED option was too bleeding edge of a choice...
Far from it. 4 or 5 pass. One thing you can't tell from the pic is that the bands are about 4" wide.
Great tip. I'll see if that is possible with the CET.
Thanks
Has anyone with a CET Flatbed ever experienced gloss banding issues? If so, what was your fix or did you just switch to printing at slower higher pass print mode? Talking about results like this... (see solid filled dark blue in attached image). That area isn't suppose to have large stripes...
Actually, I think it was red rosin paper that they were using at the show.
Like this...

I'll try both.
We want to use paper for overspray on full bleeds. I know we could just print on the bed and scrape it off, but we want to do it differently.
So,
VACUBOND Paper -vs- regular craft paper from the hardware store for vacuum table protection (and registration).
I see the product called VACUBOND...
You won't find anything new that range. That said, CET sells an industrial machine and has a smaller one here...

With CET you can get different configurations. So, start with 2 heads (the heads can be split so that one head does CM and one head does YK)...
We purchased the CET flatbed. I'll give you my input in two weeks. A CET tech is coming here to do some modifications to our set-up. Depending on the outcome of those adjustments, I'll have a clearer idea on my recommendation.

We sell the Pneumatic post driver here...

For just 20 posts, I'd consider just driving them with a conventional post driver like this...

ONYX makes media profiles for CET printers!? They didn't provide them for our previous flatbed (that also used ONYX). I wouldn't think they'd make profiles for any specific machine. That isn't their job. They'd have to own a version of every machine on the market for testing. I figured that...
From Gavriel at CET:
We just got an $180k CET flatbed. It has only ONE material profile called "VINYL". Our old gerber CAT-UV had about 20+ material profiles (eg: coroplast, vinyl, plex, magnetic) and about 6 pre-designed print modes (eg: quality 1, quality 2, Production 1, Production 2...
We recently got a printer with LED UV cure lamps. It is OK, but adhesion could be better on coro
I was looking around online and saw two sites that made it sound like UV and UV-LED-Cure inks are two different things.

Does anyone use a Screen Printers UV Conveyor Dryer on digital flatbed prints? Did it help with adhesion?
I'm saying that you'd take a print that was cured by your digital flatbed, but you need better adhesion. Our new flatbed's prints sometimes need a secondary cure especially on items that...
Are there any ink additives that make the ink cure harder ...so they can't be wiped off with alcohol other solvents?
We frequently print one item that gets handled quite a bit (Like custom phone cases) and was wondering if this was a sign that perspiration and oils from handling will make that...
