    Keep in mind that "center on media" will actually center the print where it perceives the media to be, which is between the pinch rollers. So if you want the print centered on the media make sure the media is centered relative to the pinch rollers.

    Design your text in Corel and export it as an eps file. Import the eps into Cutstudio and use it to send the info to the plotter.

    If you feel you're absolutely screwed if you don't get the printer going AND you are sure there is ink in the cart then try flexing the tab outward and trimming it off with a razor blade enough that when you let it go it doesn't protrude from the side of the cart.     We're close to AAG on pressure, we run Thermoflex at 90 grams on our GX24. The one thing that hasn't been mentioned is cutting speed. We typically slow the plotter down to 5 cm per sec. for thermoflex. That should help with your corner issues.
