we have always used a mix of black silkscreen enamel and a little 1shot black to thin it down a little.... never used anything other than black glass smalt... large and small signs....

here on cape cod, it is always a good idea to test the beach sand by the lifeguard tower during the summer.. you have to do this at least 2-3 times a month, just to make sure the water table is not rising..... yeah thats it, test the water table.....

i believe 3M makes an opaque vinyl with a black adhesive.... we have used it on plastic for an opaque background..... it is a matte finish ... # 3635-91

we have used 1/2" mdo on the back, 3/4" mdo , and dibond.... need more info on where it will be going.... have always used gorilla glue, never a problem... signs have been up for a number of years... i feel it has been time tested..... when we blast HDU we try not to put any glue on...

get someone else involved.... if it is a membrane roof you may be opening yourself up to all kinds of problems......if you penetrate the rubber roof without knowing what you are doing it can void the warranty on the roof.....

we use a lot of signfoam... has everyone noticed a dif. in the cell structure..... in the 15lb.stock it has gotten increasingly bad.... better in the 18lb. but..... not like it use to be....... i just wish they would stop screwing around with the product, lord knows we pay enough for it...

on cape cod, each town requires a permit... some towns have sign review boards, others have historical boards... towns have also set up historical districts which require a review of the sign, location, color, and size.... these are meetings that have to be attended or they will not issue a...

gino, we understand you do not want the customer to go some place else....but... i can not give the product away..... having 8 people working, we know what our costs are... we donate our time, equipment, etc. to the local economy....we work with our vendors all the time...

a lot of banks in our area are using the snap frames as A-frames... d/f..... they work very well.... we painted the frames with mathews paint to give them a little more protection from the elements.....
