I'm going to be double checking this. The tech gave me a good idea to test to see if they're close in setting by laminating a piece of black paper and then stopping it for 3 minutes and then comparing the foot print the rollers leave.
If I roll a 10' print out onto the table, it will begin to track off to the left after about 6'-7' .
If I run it from the rear take up roll, over the table, it buckles. It's been awhile since I've tried that.
If i run it from the rear take up roll, under the table directly into the nip...
Just got off the phone with Seal. It's part of the Roll to Roll option for the 62 base. There is not a kit for the 54 base. The tech I spoke to said you might be able to cut the tube down, and mount the brackets, but wasn't sure.
I'm set at 50-60 pressure.
I'm not even sure if this mysterious roller is available for the 54/base. I've tried sooooo many different methods at feeding these prints its made me sick. Unrolled and loosely double folded out on the table, on the rear take up roller, etc etc etc... The laminator...
I think I found the source of my frustration....
Here is a photo of the 54 Base we have and a 62 Base. The 62 base has a roller directly attached to the table.... what roller is that and where do i get it?
What's your guys' process of actually feeding the print in, describe it like I know nothing.... ignore settings... Trying to start from the beginning, pretending I have no idea what I'm doing.... which I probably dont... haha
No material will work better than any other material. You're problem is the temperature... It will freeze all material... This is advice given from someone that's lived and worked their entire life in Minnesota. You live in Texas, wait until its 60 degrees.
If it's my shop... Someone needs it NOW, and outside... the product holds no warranty, and no guarentee of how it will turn out after the installation.
Yes you will have problems. The only advice I can give you is do not heat the glass up with a heat gun... it will crack/shatter.
I have a Seal 54 Base.
Laminate goes in perfect, take up real takes up backing paper perfectly straight. My problem is that when I laminate print longer than that, I get buckling/wrinkling in the middle at the end.
How does everyone line up their prints when laminating prints that are longer...
Awesome! Now I don't have to deal with the people that I absolutely hate dealing with.
I was in the local art supplies store this weekend and was looking at all the Cricut stuff and was blown away by the prices of everything...
I will say that they filled in that scrap booking niche...
After this happened... If I was you, I'd stop accepting paypal...
A very close friend of mine (who owns a motorsports marketing company) used to run most of his transactions through paypal... Until someone disputed him and they froze his account, not because someone disputed him but it...
