  3. First wrap design..need help

I usually design at 100ppi to 150ppi depending upon the size of the vehicle at 1:1 or 100% scale. If you want your drop shadows to be larger than what you can make with the fx button, you make a selection of the art you want a drop shadow on, and expand that selection by 20, 50, 100, or what...

Local driver here. Tear it apart guys/gals... Some clipping in areas, I only had measurements for the old body, so when the new body was made a few things were changed and didn't line up perfectly... Alex
  7. Laminating Long Runs... Problems...

I live by the notion that everything I'm doing is wrong, and there is always a better meathod.
  8. you can hate me now....

10 53' Trailers fully wrapped this year, misc banners... Printed/Finished by Merritt... 12,000 sq ft and only a small misc laminated piece about 6"x50" on one panel, easy fix on my end. I'd say that's pretty good. I hope someone is making money... :) Granted it's not going into my pocket...
  9. perf recommendations

The only film out of Oracal, ClearFocus, OneSign1?, 3M, that has lasted a "few" years has been 3M. Laminated and not laminated, with and without Edge Sealant, 3M has always lasted for me. The rest only last months, unless you're lucky it might last a year without looking like junk.

  12. It's Been Awhile...

Hey All! It's been awhile since I've posted much of anything. I've been super busy at our shop and doing random other things outside of shop life. I'm still trying to get caught up on whats been going on here. I also want to make a shameless plug for Mike over at Merritt. We did a nice 12,000+...
  13. Check from scammer PART 2

Reminds me of the Monty Python skit someone pulled on these scammers once. Lots of good stuff here: http://419eater.com/
  14. Customers who bring in Flash Drives, Whos Responsibility is it?

I never allow a customer to leave a usb drive. Files are immediately copied off of it, and then they leave with it.

  16. David Thorne...this guy slays me.

He has a lot of awesome stuff on his site. There's an email about a spider... you should check that one out.
  17. One More Retro-themed Design

What's great about this work is not that it is "retro" themed. What really stands out about this work is the artwork redefines the shape of the "substrate" in a sense. Simple clean artwork redefined that tall harsh square shaped flyer into an elegant looking shape that feels soft and inviting.
  18. Partial Wrap for HVAC company-

I could turn it around faster by wrapping it.
  19. trying to find similar font

Yes and probably a trademark infringement.
  20. Partial Wrap for HVAC company-

Nice... Everyone take note... No diamond tread, barbed wire, honeycomb, and lightning bolts in sight. This is effective branding...
