oh and is there a way to set it to print the image or design only and not the whole media width even when there is not an image to print on the last half of the media. IE print is 12x12 but it still runs the full 54" wide of material. No contour cut or reg marks.

Do you have any issue with black coverage looking spotty or like there is not enough being laid down? On a 720x720 8 pass its this way but a 720x1440 12 pass its way to much ink. Material is ora 3651

Both files fine? Wait 12.2? Mine don’t show an update to that? Also did you notice the difference in the background or glow of the pdf file vs the eps file? My pdf turns the the green glow white. The eps keeps it green.

I have a horrible issue that Onyx rip will crash anytime i try to rotate a file. This doesn't matter what the file type is eps, pdf, tiff.

I know this is forever ago but did you figure this out? If not i have the fix for you.

As everyone has probably already read i have had a epson s80600 replaced due to banding on anything but 12 pass.. Well new printer and 8 pass has slight banding nothing like it was but still can see it. Banding runs horizontal to rillers or parallel to print heads. ( looking at the printer left...

The tech lied to you lol. The date you posted this mine and 6 others prior ti mine had to have head replacements. Mine they replaced both heads at the same time and then changed one of the heads again. They have now replaced the printer. Still have slight banding on 8 pass non on 12 pass..

Thanks for the info. The only issue i run into is we have several clients that have the same design but have several in different colors and layouts so just off the top of my head there is one client that has 30 artboards. The export screens makes this a lot easier as it creates a separate file...

FYI. If you're in illustrator you go to export screens and can export each artboard as a pdf using pre-saved pdf setting from illustrator. Saves each artboard as a separate pdf file and not all in one file as pages.

Found a setting under the printer rip setup to separate each page as a new job.

I have a a file that has a couple artboard in it with the arboards names. When i save as a pdf but tell it to save artboards it still saves on pdf as multiple pages. When i open that pdf in onyx rip it only show the first page but loads all pages yet i cannot modify any info on the other pages...

I was just printing banners early this week. Came in today and tried to print an .eps banner. It is file until you rotate the design then you get ui for global graphics pdf print engine has stopped working If i save design as a pdf it works fine? Any thoughts.
