    That processor isnt the best as they said already. Im assuming it's single core? And I would look up that motherboard. If you could upgrade processors, it still wouldnt be much of a difference. And check to see how many ram slots the board has. To make room for your "bonus" ram, and more...

    You could send them to school. Check the colleges in your area. Most have design courses that are photoshop specific.

    Im missing a few pieces here. Do you have a photo of the flames you want? And your wanting to know how to fill in some text with this photo? Or are you wanting to created flames from scratch? I'm assuming since you were looking in PS tuts, you need this done in photoshop?

    Isign nailed it down pretty tightly. I would do two layers, one of the text with a fat stroke and "no fill" then do the chrome bevel on it, with the inner shadow. Then lay your pattern behind it. I beilive that would give you the depth your looking for with the outline as it shows. I could...
