  1. Need Help F2 fuse

If you've unplugged the carriage board and it is still blowing fuses, then your problem (at least one of them) is before the carriage board. It could be the trailing cables or the main board. Disconnect the trailing cables from the main board and see if it still blows the fuse. Inspect the...

  3. Can I use a plotter other than Gerber to cut my Edge prints?

You've been able to cut Edge prints from Omega for some time now using a Graphtec plotter. I think a Gerber 15" plotter would be better, but it is more expensive. When Graphtec was making Gerber's friction fed plotters, Gerber started to incorporate the Graphtec cutting marks into their system.
  4. Versaworks saved jobs

You may have to reinstall VersaWorks on your new drive in order to do that.
  5. Roland Vg-540

They do come with a take-up. Check with another dealer.
  6. Colomeasure Tool

This one will at least give you Lab color values. And it is extremely portable. I'm not sure if your RIP software will allow you to create special color tables, but if you can and have decent profiles, this should get you pretty close (Color management can't be totally covered here, so I'll...
  7. Need Help Corel Draw won't export jpeg

If you had to reinstall Windows, this is essentially no longer the same computer.
  8. What's causing this?

This still looks like encoder strip issues. Probably time for a new strip or new sensor.
  9. RS laminator

  11. My Roland Versacamm has decided to stop reading crop marks. Help!

I would try some canned air first. If that doesn't do it, then proceed to a cleaning swab with Isopropyl Alcohol - DO NOT use the Roland cleaning fluid. And just to be clear, the sensor is on the left end of the cut carriage. Joe
  12. Need Help Graphic 8000 cutting strangely

Since Fellers isn't a Graphtec distributor, I doubt that you have a genuine Graphtec blade. I would try to find a Graphtec dealer and get a genuine blade. I've seen that solve a lot of problems and have never had a problem with a new Graphtec blade. You can find a list of dealers here: Vinyl...
  13. My Roland Versacamm has decided to stop reading crop marks. Help!

Strypguy is correct. But first, try just cleaning off the bottom of the sensor. It could just have some debris there keeping you from reading the marks.
  14. Need Help Graphic 8000 cutting strangely

Also, are you using genuine Graphtec blades or a third party alternative? Your offset with a new Graphtec blade should be zero. Also, make sure that you have the correct tool selected (CB-09). If it's a different brand, you'll have to test till you get the correct offset. Also, for general...

  16. Need Help Printing metallic spot colors with Flexi and Roland

It appears the Flexi doesn't support the Metallic ink mode on that printer: As opposed to the XR, which has the option: And this is with the latest version of Flexi, so you won't find it in an older version. So, for metallics, you're stuck using VersaWorks. As for getting them to match...

  18. Need Help Printing metallic spot colors with Flexi and Roland

What model of printer do you have and what is set up in Flexi? If you have a model that Flexi supports metallic ink printing and you choose a color mode that includes metallic ink, then your customer spot color mapping is probably the best way to go. You could check the values that Roland...
  19. Onyx 10 white print setup

Also, it will most likely take more than white to make the opacity you need. Probably something like: reverse print cmyk > white > gray > white > regular print cmyk. Otherwise the 2 layers of color will show through and confuse the pushers and the pullers.
  20. Edge question

Change it to grey-scale and print with white foil?
