Jburns is right: Gerber really said they dont make parts for the GS15 Plus? They still sell that cutter. Somethings not quite right here. If you bought this used, Gerber probably won't help you unless you pay them for help. But they are obligated to support a product they sell for 5 years...

It looks to me that head 1 needs to be reseated. Or that the carriage may have a problem. If this were an older printer, I would recommend that the bias adjustment needs to be done, but the VG doesn't have this adjustment. Also, on this material, the feed calibration is slightly high...

It's plasticizer migration. Essentially the oil in the banner is coming out through the bond that the paint made with the banner material. This may not be salvageable, but if you can get the paint off, it might work. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I'm not at my desk right now, but it would be easy to do the same in Flexi. It mostly depends on what software you know well. Flex, AI, Corel for the most part all can do the same things, it mostly boils down to what you use most and what you've learned. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Or cut red translucent vinyl on a plotter - I know, this isn't using your printer, but seems like a better product in this case. When printing for a backlit sign, you either need to sandwich some prints or put up with a washed out print when backlit or an oversaturated print when the lights are...
