so a 4" x 24" decal is $7.68? even with calendared vinyl and cheap mask you are close to costs. Do you know how much your actual material costs are? How long does it take to design, cut, weed, and prepare a decal?

What do you charge for the decals you cut, weed, and prepare at the show?

We picked up the completed wrap late last week. I'm fairly happy with it but there were a few issues with the printing and a few corners were not wrapped properly. We will wrap another one in a few weeks for the same client's business partner.

I agree about the Mastering Layout book, I purchased it years ago and was lost. The Dan Antonelli books are good as are any design books with example layouts. The more examples of good design you see the better your designs will be.

Are you using 3 or 4 point alignment targets? Does it find all of the alignment targets? I've never had it be off once it finds the targets. Usually the problem is the targets being too close to a pinch roller or too close to the front or end of the material. Any of those will cause it to...

How big is the sign? I'm ignorant on these types of signs and their fabrication. Could you have painted the entire thing white before updating it or would the old sign still show through?

Geo Knight stands behind what they sell. I've had a DK20-Auto for about 8 years and it still works every time and was built like a tank. Their are other good brands as well. Buy a well known brand and be happy. An extra $300 amortized over 2 years will be nothing to worry about.

If they took the time to properly roll the banner it will not wrinkle. Give them an old roll core, longer than the banner, and show them how to roll it slowly and with purpose. Soldiers "ranger roll" their shirts without wrinkles, as do I.

Not trying to be a smart as$ but have you read the manual for the CE5000-60? If not... You really do need to read it. There is lots of useful information.
