I would demand an apology, written on a card no smaller than 5x7. If the card is bigger, I would do the work. If it is 5x7, I'd politely decline and tell him, while the effort is appreciated, that is not near enough flair. You expect your customers to go the extra mile.

I got 1 shirt from a vendor and it felt like plastic, it would stick to your back. I assumed that was a transfer and it made me skeptical of ever trying it in place of screen printing

I will say that the migrant areas band together and help each other out when stuff like this happens and would bet that they would all be willing to head south and help with cleanup. In contrast, my American friends are salivating over the opportunity to make a bunch of money off of it..
