  1. If you're doing this full time*

With textured ink, using 20cc+ isn't unheard of for even small prints. Wonder how many hours after release that their white ink circulation system is going to start failing and clogging heads. Anker, mediocre power banks, uninspired 3D printers and now UV printer... Oh, right, they are 'eufy' now.
  2. Small Print Shops needed/ wanted US BASED

We have a JFX200, a JFX200 EX and a JFX500, so we can do a lot of those.
  3. Another Mimaki price increase incoming

Depends where they or their ingredients are made. So far, seems stable though. How long that lasts depends on vendor and sourcing for ingredients.
  4. If you're doing this full time*

Holy hell, $0.43 per ml/$430 per liter for ink. If I were to hazard a guess, it's just a printer based on an XP600 head.
  5. Small Print Shops needed/ wanted US BASED

Looking for just UV printed roll media, or UV printing direct to object/flatbed prints? Or, UVDTF? Or maybe edible UV? Skin safe UV? Got lots of UV here. =)
  6. Mimaki JV33 "Special Firmware"

Going to be a parameter likely, best bet is to contact your local dealer and hope they can set you up.
  7. Call for Applications. Now hiring for print shop in Anaheim

Join in on the conversations, lots of great info in here and tons of people too. =)
  8. If you're doing this full time*

    I work on those.
  9. Pantone Video

Just here for the industry stuff. I worked in auto parts for years and we kept 3 topics as forbidden: politics, religion and motor oil brand. The last one caused the most arguments.
  10. Pantone Video

Seems like a long way of saying monopolization of standards mean people get screwed on pricing.
  11. Call for Applications. Now hiring for print shop in Anaheim

A company that only comes in to post a listing in the general area. Yeah, some Hamburger University level career opportunities there...
  12. Mimaki UJF 3042 MkII Ink pull

Don't. Best bet is to clean out the bottle tank BEFORE trying to pull ink through. Odds are, there is a good solid centimeter or more of white pigment settled out just waiting to screw your head up 9 ways to Tuesday if you try and force that through. Disconnect the line, flush it completely...
  13. Let's Build a DTF Printer (For as cheap as possible!)

Their google reviews here, most are 'anonymous user' and similar formatting, grammar, word count and punctuation. https://www.google.com/storepages?q=dtgpro.com&c=US&v=19&hl=en_US There are so many anonymous reviews that some are even duplicates. 168/242 total reviews are anonymous. They...
  14. If you're doing this full time*

While the cricut stuff is a crazy racket and their materials and consumables are obscene, still nothing compared to the hustle moms selling $20K DTF setups to people. Gotten so many printers for almost nothing as a result of that racket.
  15. Ever wondered how designs get printed so flawlessly on fabric? Let’s talk about Sublimation Printing

Weirdness continues, the cre8tiveskill website is a hot mess of crappy templates, stolen images and AI. Seems their contact info is in India. Yay Delaware corps. nobody to bug on the phone, yet. Nice thing about AI is I can use bots too. =)
  16. Let's Build a DTF Printer (For as cheap as possible!)

I called DTGPro and asked them to tell their marketing company to knock this AI stuff off. It was fun annoying people here, so maybe they'll take the hint. Also reported a ton of their fake google reviews.
  17. Careful with solventinkjet.com

As a guy who DIYs everything, I also understand the risks. Simple fact of the matter, when installing an expensive and fragile part, experience is something that can be well worth the cost.
  18. Careful with solventinkjet.com

New cables are always recommended as those flat flexy bastards are so easy to damage and short out connections. Temp errors when the head isn't overheating are usually caused by shorted thermistor circuits in my experience. If you toast the circuit, the whole head isn't easily repairable. When...
