I believe I found the solution, thanks to Adam Vreeke, I downloaded the files he provided, printed the first one and came 0.14" short, then I made the ajustment in the print quality tab and selected the Scan Direction Distance Correction and then, click on auto correction and print another...

I have the same problem, printing on a 72" long file, it comes about 1/8" short.

because it was giving me a code for missing timing on the encoder strip, it was going very slow and the machine detected that it was the carriage, do not remember the code, it was about 4 years ago, I was moving the carriage by hand and it was very hard some times, that is when the (I will say)...

mine is crashing when I want to change a setting or even going to the preferences.....

I had something similar..... until I found out that the linear bearings were almost out, I replace them and I am still running, had never change the encoder strip or something else, the only replaced parts are 1 time printhead and linear bearings, we got the machine on November 2005 and still...

I have flexi for HP and when changing settings it freezes, than I have to close it and restart production manager and the same happens..... my solution, use Onyx, I do have both.

I have the same machine since 2017, I have had some pressure error, but easy to fix, still using the same pump filters etc., better call for service if you can.

I am very lucky, I got the white ink that I do not use too much for almost a year for expiration date, for the other inks, I am the only one using the machine since 2017 and I know when to order ink, you get 3 months after expiration date, but they are not really 3 month, if your expiration date...

Do a test print for consistency and heat, that is my opinion, I have used material that it has been stored for a few years, since 2020, General formulations wall and floor graphic adhesive vinyl and (lucky me) have not had any problems. and best, some graphics, still in place.
