My XC-540 just quit loading - I suspect the ribbon cable. I'm in the middle of a huge time sensitive job and can't wait till Monday. Anyone know of anyone available today / tomorrow?
I'm in the middle of a huge retail barricade project and one of my installers just blew me off. I need 2-3 installers for a project starting immediately in the DC Metro area.
Have a client that wants some dry erase boards up to 4x8 with pre printed faces. This is no problem but I'm stuck on a source for the aluminum trim frames and marker trays that run along the bottom. Anyone have a source?
I have a client who wants a several hundred name badges for an event. Anyone ever used Phototex for this type of application?
Any other material suggestions?
I hate them, but you can't fight city hall when they insist.
Has anyone every tried using their printer/cutter to cut the slits? I hate cutting all these damn things on 6 30 foot banners by hand.
Have an oppurtunity to pick up one of their integrated sublimation printers / fixers. Anyone familiar with them? I know they are out of Korea and build based on a Roland chassis, but I can't find a US distributor, did they fold? Anyone? Buller?
I tried to post this in the bids wanted classified sections, but couldn't.
I need someone who has a Direct to Garment Printer with white ink capability for some short run work. Anyone have one?
Estimate has just announce the release of V3 of their pricing / quote software. OK fine, but it's only going to be available as a monthly subscription. Stop paying, it stops working. How do you all feel about subscription only software that is vital to your business? Seems like this is a license...
Anyone ever actually measured a roll of banner (or any media for that matter)? I opened a roll of 164' banner yesterday and ran 4 4 foot banners, 1 9 foot banner and 1 15 foot banner. By my count I should have had 124 feet of banner left on the spool (116 - 120 with cutoffs). I had to run 2 27...
For those that use a SW package to generate quotes, what are you using and how do you like it? We've been using Estimate for several years, but there are so many issues with V2 that have never been resolved (and I'm guessing won't be)that I'm going to shop around for another solution after we...
Out of the blue phone call from someone I've never dealt with looking for close in dated event signage, usually a non-profit or some kind of benefit. The conversation always goes to the same conclusion..."and can you just bill us?"
Um, no.
Had to vent, I just get so tired of...
I recently needed to send an oversize banner out for printing. I found a wholesaler, ordered the job, got it produced and shipped and it arrived in a timely fashion. So far so good. We unpacked and started to unroll the banner when the fun started. It was really soft and was trying to stick...
I'm looking for a wholesaler who can supply free standing steel interior frames for 22 x 28 POP graphics. I need both the single display stands and the 3 vertical graphic stands. Anyone?
Help!
We've had no deliveries for a week due to the snow, yet have had to continue production. I ran out of yellow yesterday - normally not a biggie, but I'm closing up for a week (leaving today) due to an out of town commitment. What's the best scenario here? Turn the primary power off? I know...
Everything is running at once: all the large and small printers, the DVD replicators, the bindery and both laminators are in use. I dunno, it's just.....:cool1:
We're thinking about adding a DCsx to our line up. I'm familiar with thermal transfer printing, but I wanted to ask the Smuma owners; are these printers only good for line art or will they do dithered bitmaps (photos) as well?
Thanks.
I'm curious. How long of a strip do you run for doing print and cut when you have to laminate (i.e. stickers) before you start to see any cut deflection?
On my XC-540 I don't like to go over 60" in length if I'm gang printing stickers. I've done stuff like trade show headers that were 144" but...
Old age and senility seems to be setting in at a rapid pace. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the "Got Milk?" font.
Little help?
please?
