Dibond vs Alum

I have a customer that wants to order approx 36 24"x24" signs to be mounted on a single post - black in color. I have some black 3mm dibond in stock but am wondering if .063 alum should be used although it cost a bit more. These will be used to mark lots. thanks for any input!

I can only get black aloonimum in .040.
I'd use the dibond.

Unlike 3mm Dibond, .063 Aluminum will most likely look like an old discarded overused basketball referees court shoe within 6 months.

I'd use .080 aluminum. I don't trust dibond to hold up on a single post like that and I've had too much .063 bend in a strong wind.

Thats what I thought...but hey the customer is always right. He does drive a black Hummer.... guess big is better
