Do you paint exterior acrylic?

I have some dimensional white acrylic letters going outside and stud mounted. Would you paint the acrylic white for added protection or leave unpainted?

It's already white. Leave them alone. White acrylic holds up just fine on it's own. Painting just adds something that could fail.

Generally, ya order the acrylic in the finish color you want. No paint will hold up well, until you start spraying matthews or some reasonable equivalent.

Only if the color isn't available in acrylic. We did a job a while ago that had cut out acrylic letters in a bunch of different pastel colors. We painted them with custom rattle cans from this place. Held up really well.

Personally I like the deep gloss look of acrylic so I try to not cover it if at all possible. Specifically I'm talking about using it for cutout letters.
