That first video looks like it was done in the labs of the arch enemy of James Bond in the 70's.

i want a job that requires a lab coat. i have been involved in information technology for 22 years and never once has a lab coat been part of the job.

No, unfortunately, the Z printer is super slow and the resulting models are fragile. The finished medium is similar to plaster.

I like Dimension's 3D printers better although they cost a lot more.

The resulting models are very sturdy. At one time, they had a demo video of printing a bicycle chain, placing it on a bicycle and riding it. It does not print in color like the Z printer but I believe it can do clear and solid ABS.
